What breaks
Three things that keep repeating here.
The menu is a photo nobody can read
A picture of the menu on a phone gets zoomed and rotated, the prices are unreadable, and a change means a new photo. A menu that is text can be read, searched and changed in a minute.
Bookings come by phone at the worst time
A call in the middle of service, a note on paper and a double booking at eight. A booking the guest makes themselves is recorded at once and the whole shift can see it.
The guest does not know what to expect
Opening hours, parking, a high chair, the terrace and whether you take cards. Those are the questions repeated on the phone every evening, and they can be written down once.
