Who processes your data

Tarik Smajlović is responsible for data collected through this site. Any question about processing goes to him, by phone or through the form on the contact page.

What I collect

I only receive what you send me yourself. No form on this site asks for more than what is listed here.

  • From the free audit form: your website address, what your business does, your city, your name, a phone number or email, and a message if you write one.
  • The form submission also carries context: which page it was sent from, in which language and for which market, and which answers you picked if you went through the price calculator. It describes the page, not you, and none of it stays on your device.
  • A server log entry on every visit: IP address, time, the address requested and browser details. Every web server does this; it is used for security and for fixing faults.
  • Your choice of dark or light theme, kept in your browser's own storage. That value never leaves your device and never reaches me.

Why I collect it, and on what basis

Every field has one purpose. Nothing is collected in case it might be useful later.

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare the audit you asked for. The basis is your consent, given by ticking the box in the form.
  • To prepare a quote and a contract if we agree to work together. The basis is preparing and performing a contract.
  • To keep the site running and secure. The basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the server available and protected from abuse.

How long I keep it

Nothing is kept indefinitely. How long depends on what came of the enquiry.

  • An enquiry that does not lead to work: 12 months
  • Client data where work was agreed: as long as tax and accounting rules require
  • Server logs: 30 days

Who else sees it

I do not sell or trade your data. It reaches only the companies without which the site and email cannot run, and only as far as that requires.

  • The hosting provider the site runs on
  • The email provider your enquiry arrives through
  • A public authority, where the law requires it.

Cookies and measurement

This site currently sets no cookies at all and does not use Google Analytics, so there is no consent banner either. What exactly stays in your browser, for how long and how to delete it, is listed on the cookies page. If visitor measurement is ever added, that page changes first, before the measurement starts running.

Your rights

You have rights over the data you sent me, and you can use them at any time, without giving a reason and without a fee.

  • To ask what data I hold about you.
  • To ask for an incorrect detail to be corrected.
  • To ask for your data to be deleted.
  • To withdraw consent, which stops any further processing based on it.
  • To complain to the competent data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

When the way data is handled changes, this text changes with it, and the last updated date at the top of the page shows when. Older versions are not kept online, so if you need proof of the wording in force at a given moment, ask for it at the address below.
