Projects

Systems in daily use.

Not mockups and not demos. Clients run their business on them, and the domain sits next to each one so you can check for yourself.

All three are in the same trade, and that is deliberate. Local service firms selling a made to measure product share one problem: the buyer does not finish the purchase online, they ask for a quote. Three sites in that niche are worth more than ten unrelated demo projects, because each next one is faster and more accurate. The fourth is deliberately outside that niche: the same method, a different trade.

In common

Why this experience carries over to your business.

Different companies, but the same kind of decision on the site.

  • A local service firm

The buyer is in the same town or region, and decides on trust and price rather than on brand.

  • A made to measure product

The price depends on size, material and access, so it cannot go in a basket. The site has to collect the details instead of taking payment.

  • An enquiry, not a sale

The page is not there to take an order but to produce a qualified enquiry you can quote against without asking twice.

Mostly simpler business websites. The contract does not allow showing them.

20 to 30Sites where I ran SEO only

Existing WordPress sites. I did not build them, I optimised them.

How to read the numbers

Projects that have a case study carry figures from that site's Search Console, with the period and the export date. None is an estimate. Three things have to be known alongside them, because without those a number says more than it should.

  • The figures sit next to three projects and cover three months, not the whole life of the site. One of the three is younger than a month, and the fourth site is maintained by the client, so it carries no figures at all.
  • Search Console measures search, not business. How many enquiries turned into work is known to the client, and that figure is not here.
  • The numbers are a dated snapshot. The next export will change them, and the pages get rewritten then rather than topped up.
