What this solves
Why this part exists.
Taking bookings by phone occupies two people at once, usually during the busiest shift. A guest who gets no answer gives up, and the table stays empty although it was free. A booking system shows free slots in advance and holds the table the moment it is confirmed, so two guests cannot end up with the same one.
